The following morning, you'll wake up to the peaceful sounds of the rainforest. If you wish, you can continue your adventure with an additional 6–7 hours of trekking. This gives you even more opportunities to explore deeper into the jungle and observe wildlife in its natural habitat.
With a bit of luck, you'll have an excellent chance of seeing wild Sumatran orangutans, as well as other incredible rainforest wildlife, including monkeys, hornbills, and exotic birds. At the end of your trek, you'll return to Bukit Lawang aboard a traditional local rafting boat, known as the "Jungle Taxi." Relax as you drift gently downstream, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the rainforest and the crystal-clear Bohorok River.

What To Bring
Start Time: The trek begins at 9:00 AM. The duration, it takes approximately 2 Days to complete.

Schedule
After breakfast at 9:00 AM, begin your journey into the jungle of Gunung Leuser National Park to see wild Orangutans. on your trek walking can be up to 7 hours including lunch/rest, and monitoring wildlife. The guide will educate you on the local wildlife, flora, and fauna you may encounter in Tropical Rainforest Sumatra. After lunch, you will continue your trek to see other wildlife and learn about the trees/plants which can be used in traditional medicine.
In the late afternoon-your guide will select a suitable spot next to the river to set up camp. you are then free to enjoy the freshwater of the Bohorok river, swim, help prepare dinner, or even go fishing. after dinner, if weather permitting, you might even enjoy the flickering glow of a cozy bonfire. Finally, drift off to sleep to the soothing sounds of the jungle, knowing that tomorrow brings more unforgettable adventures.
