Bukit Lawang- Two Days Trek – Visit Bat Cave

Day 1

Our driver will pick you up from Medan Hotel /Airport, centrally located in Medan. Start your journey to Bukit Lawang, after a 4-hour scenic journey you will reach at Bukit Lawang. The driver doesn’t Speak English, but you should not worry, once you reached Bukit Lawang our professional tour guide receives you at Guesthouse Bukit Lawang.

Day 2

Start treks after breakfast at 9 am in the Morning you will start your journey into the jungle Tropical Sumatra Rainforest seeing the famous Sumatran Orangutans. on your trek walking can be up to 7 hours including lunch/rest, and monitoring wildlife. The guide will educate you on the local wildlife, flora, and fauna you may encounter in Tropical Rainforest Sumatra. After lunch, you will continue your trek to search for other wildlife and learn about the trees/plants which can be used in traditional medicine.

In the late afternoon-your guide will select a suitable spot next to the river to set up camp. you are then free to enjoy the fresh water of the Bohorok River, get a swim, and help prepare dinner. if weather permits, our team will prepare a bonfire so guests can relax on the river bank before they settle down to sleep surrounded by the sounds of the jungle and river.

Day 3

The following morning you will wake up to the sounds of the Rainforest. You have a big chance to see Sumatran monitor lizards, tortoises, and colourful river butterflies around the campsite. the team will take you to a waterfall where you can swim and relax. After lunch, you will leave the campsite by traditional rafting boat “jungle taxi” following the river downstream back to Guesthouse.

Day 4

Meet the Guide at 10 am from your accommodation and you will start your 1–2-hour tour. You will spend about one hour exploring the Bad Cave, before heading further through the rubber plantation to the Landak river, which sits on the edge of the jungle If you’re lucky, along the way, you may see the Thomas’ leaf monkey, long-tailed macaque and maybe even an orangutan.

Day 5

Get ready to travel to Kuala Namu Airport. Duration: 4 hours On the Way to the Airport
