Step off the beaten path and immerse yourself in the heart of rural Indonesia with our Tour Village. This unique adventure begins at 9 am. Your friendly, English-speaking guide will meet you at your guesthouse, ready to introduce you to the untouched charm of the Bukit Lawang countryside. Your journey takes you through a series of authentic, hands-on village experiences that bring you closer to the traditions of the area.

Watch as local artisans craft brown sugar in the traditional way, made from palm sap, and learn about the tofu-making process. You’ll also see the intricate art of bamboo weaving. Locals transform simple bamboo into beautiful, functional items. Along the way, you’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of lush rice paddies stretching as far as the eye can see. These are framed by the towering peaks of Gunung Leuser National Park. Take a moment to soak in the beauty of this peaceful landscape, where the rhythm of rural life unfolds in harmony with nature. Tour the village and, at the end, relax and enjoy a refreshing drink or sip on fresh coconut water straight from the tree!
