Jungle Trek Package – Bukit Lawang 3D2N

This 3-day, 2-night jungle trek is ideal for those seeking an authentic rainforest experience without an extended commitment. Although it includes only a one-day trek, it still offers a genuine adventure at the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. As you explore, you may encounter semi-wild orangutans, including mothers with their babies swinging freely in the treetops. In addition, there’s a chance to spot other fascinating wildlife, such as Thomas leaf monkeys, macaques, or hornbills. Therefore, even with limited time, this package allows you to immerse yourself in the jungle’s natural beauty and biodiversity.

Day 1 – Arrival and Transfer to Bukit Lawang

Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport (Medan), our driver will pick you up from a central location nearby. From there, enjoy a scenic 4-hour drive through North Sumatra’s countryside to Bukit Lawang. Once you arrive, you’ll meet your jungle guide at the Central Point Station. Afterward, we’ll escort you to your chosen accommodation where you can check in and relax for the night. In the meantime, feel free to explore the local village, enjoy a riverside view, or simply unwind. After all, you’ll want to be well-rested before your rainforest adventure begins the next day.

Day 2 – Full-Day Jungle Trek & River Tubing Adventure

Your jungle adventure begins after breakfast at 9 AM. Right from the start, an experienced local guide will lead you into the tropical rainforest. This remarkable area, in fact, is home to orangutans and many other rare species. As you enter deeper into the forest, you’ll start to experience the sights and sounds of the wild.

As you walk, you’ll search for orangutans in their natural habitat. In addition, your guide will teach you about the rainforest’s rich biodiversity. You will ’ll learn how local people use certain plants for medicine. Meanwhile, the trek offers a mix of light exercise and nature learning. along the way, your guide will pause to answer questions and point out interesting jungle features. with some luck, you may even spot rare animals hiding in the trees. By the end of your walk, you’ll have more than just memories. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of this amazing ecosystem.

During the trek, you’ll pause for a short break to enjoy a simple jungle lunch surrounded by nature. Shortly after that, your next activity begins: tube rafting back to Bukit Lawang. As you float down the river, take in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Birds, insects, and the rustle of trees accompany you all the way. Eventually, you’ll arrive back at your accommodation relaxed, refreshed, and inspired by the jungle experience. By then, you’ll have completed an unforgettable adventure through one of Sumatra’s most vibrant ecosystems.

Day 3 – Return to Medan (Airport Transfer)

After breakfast, it’s time to check out. Shortly after, you will begin your return trip to Medan. Our driver will take you to Kuala Namu Airport—a journey that takes around 4 hours. During the drive, you can enjoy the final views of Sumatra’s lush landscapes and peaceful villages. In addition, this is a great time to relax and reflect on your jungle experience. Furthermore, you may find yourself thinking about the wildlife you saw and the people you met. As your journey comes to an end, one thing is certain: you’ll leave with unforgettable memories.
